I started playing Roller Derby (my first sport at 29!)with the Ithaca League of Women Rollers in the fall of 2014, and also started trying out sports photography for the first time. It was definitely a challenge, but I got to combine two of my favorite things - Photography and Roller Derby. I broke my ankle a couple of months into my first season, but taking pictures at bouts helped me deal with my time off skates.
